day 1 at polylinic

attachment at polyclinic far exceeds my expectation, in a good way.. it's so much more relaxing than a hospital, yet i manage to learn much more today=] e nurses there r really friendly and approachable, everyone of them i dare say..

at e diabetic clinic today, there is this nurse who really should go and be a nurse educator cuz she's great at explaining.. she makes e effort to explain to e pt not only e precautions, but also e rationale behind, and at e same time turning to me and my fren to explain further.. i learnt so much bout e disease today and felt v satisfied..

i think i am going to enjoy this week of attachment.. it is like.. a holiday at e polyclinic! i am pretty excited bout wat good food is nearby hee.. and of course i look forward to e opportunity to do wound dressing! wat is better than being slack yet being able to learn things rite? e most stressful situation is not when u have alot of things to do; it is having nothing to do but have to act as if there is something to do.. this describes my previous posting which i totally didnt enjoy..

my family was out when i came back and i felt lonely, now they r back with my dinner and i feel happier now.. i guess family is really significant in one's life.. anyway, i saw a brown puppy poodle when i went for my jog just now, and i stopped to play w it.. this little thing looks nothing like my dog, but it has a friendly and playful personality just like my dear mini..she rolled over to let me scratch her belly, then it jumped at me! hee i was not scared at all, quite enjoying myself in fact.. and her owner is a pretty little gal of bout 4 yrs old? i like her too=] the moon was really bright for e past 2 nights! it is so bright, it has a big halo of light ard it..i haven neva seen this phenomenon for the past 20 yrs! in fact, i used to think if there was no street lights, e pathetic moon will not be of much help.. well..e world seems to be changing.. my heart seems to be stirred once again..well it's a normal phenomenon for me=] but i always have to prepare myself by not ex...

cakes!!

today i discovered a cake shop in tampines mall which sells delicious cakes!! just how delicious leh? heehee.. e cakes taste like NYDC cakes..really!! i was so surprised when i tasted e sample.. and one piece of cake only sells at $2.. yummy.. they have alot of types of choc cakes just like nydc too, got brownies, truffles, tiramisu, black forest etc.. can u name me one flavour tt i don like to eat?? sorry, i don think so.. heeheeheehee.. wat a wonderful discovery.. i think e shop auntie is going to see me quite often.. hai..lucky her=p my poor dog got mistaken a few days ago..i was bringing him for a walk when a bicycle passed by, and a mother and her little daughter were sitting on it.. and i heard distinctly e mother telling e daughter, "no..tt is a dog la, not a panda la.." diao.. look at my dog for yourself.. =]
