today 13-yr old gal was admitted during e nite shift.. when i reached my ward for a morning shift, a doc was telling her, "don worry u are very safe here.. u are very near e nurses' station, so anything just scream ok?" heehee.. tt was quite funny.. and i thot tt doc was very sweet to e kid=]=]
i was quite disoriented yesterday when i took cases yesterday..partly cuz e nurse did e changes despite knowing i am taking cases=/ and i really don like taking over halfway cuz i dunno wat is done or not.. and i also don like passing over a report saying things tt are not done by me cuz i wont know e details.. furthermore, during serving medication, she suddenly took out e medications for me cuz i think she thinks i am too slow.. wa lao spoil everything lor.. working with her is like a precious day wasted la!=/
anyway, i happily took cases today and was actually quite satisfied with myself=] all thanx to my staff nurse who is very nice and capable=] oh man i think i am liking e staff in my ward more and more.. die, how could i??? now i dunno whether to change ward or not when i start work! haven faced a dilemma for v long wor..hmm..
btw, 5 new graduates came to work yesterday! they still have a young look, like us! of course la they r younger than us mah=/ hee.. anyway, they are quite nice also la.. some staff were saying tt now they got more staff, and they were happy for 2 secs before realising tt wont last for long.. cuz tt many existing preggies are going on maternal leave soon.. hee..
i look forward to next week! cuz.....e ward will be super crowded.. got three of our yr 1s coming, some nyp prcp, plus e existing new graduates.. u know wat tt means?=D tt means yy and i can leave them to fight for junior work to do while we take cases w a peace of mind.. hehehehehehehe..
