after church camp

i just came back from my first church camp in my life.. and it was wonderful=]

the praise and worship each morning was beautiful because of God's presence.. e P&W was done without rushing, and we had ample time to wait on God.. though e music and songs were nice, but i believe it is God who touched us, not the music..

we fasted for one lunch, and at first i thot i wont make it.. as in not tt i will die la=/ but u know, a hungry man is an angry man.. and this applies to woman too..

but as we wait upon the Lord in the afternoon, my hunger pangs were totally bearable as i focus my thoughts on God.. tt's when i understood wat e song means when it says "you're all i want, you're all i've ever needed" everything else becomes secondary..

as i waited on God, i felt His presence and i know my life has been touched once again.. my pastors sometimes say in the closing prayer, tt "if your presence doesnt go with us, we dont want to leave this place.." and i finally understood this on a deeper level..

the talks were good too.. one speaker said tt, when we receive our salvation, we should receive Him as our Lord and saviour, both together.. then i realised i have focused too much on e saviour part--how He saved me and blesses me and works in my life.. but i dint focus on Him being my Lord, which is submitting my life to Him and loving Him for He is.. as a result, i have very taken his unconditional love for granted.. i am glad tt this speech ministered to me..

and we had fellowship and group time with my cell group.. i must say my cell members are wonderful too!! i really really love my cell group and i cannot be more thankful for them.. i can see how each one seeks God and i am very encouraged by their hunger for God..
