boo hoo.. got a small telling off from my CI today=[ wat i did was to transcribe e vital signs from a paper to e charts, cuz i didnt bring my red pen.. but i told her i did bring e charts along to check against e pt's baseline.. then e CI said tt still there will be a risk of transcribing wrongly.. and she said she can actually mark me down for pt safety cuz she already told us earlier not to transcribe vital signs.. but if i didnt remember wrongly, e only rationale she gave was tt we need to check against e baseline, so it didnt occur to me bout e risk of transcribing wrongly wat.. i feel like she thinks i am being defiant on purpose lor.. but i didnt want to argue further w her.. mark down, mark down lor.. wa lao.
see la, reason no.1 why i like ttsh is tt everything is in black pen.. i feel like having to use a red ink is abit extra.. and have to keep changing pen to chart down.. and reason no. 2, cgh clinical charts has e time headings already printed, ie 8, 2, 8, or something like tt.. and it is impossible to chart down vital signs at e exact timing wat.. then how to be accurate? like tt must cancel almost all e headings to write e exact time leh.. (or issit all hospitals r like tt?) and reason no.3, cgh beds has no name on e headboard, which is super inconvenient.. esp if a pt randomly calls u over and u r not holding any charts w u.. and reason no.4, which is yet to be confirmed, i think i would prefer ttsh way of writing report also..
ok something more positive bout my future working place.. at least e environment is nicer now..
1. there is a fish pond with very fat fishes where pple can buy food to feed them
2. there is a delifrance in construction
3. there is a very nice waffle stall in e canteen
4. there is a new mr bean stall now
hai i realise environment is quite impt to me.. but ttsh environment is not bad also.. even got bookshop which sells cheap pens! hee.. so in conclusion, i confirmed my liking for ttsh even more now..esp their system..
