i don feel like going out already cuz i feel very tired aft one to two hours into the outings and my mind goes to dreamland.. at the rate i am going, i'll become a hermit cuz i am not tt close to my colleagues yet, and i don have the energy to go out w frenz..boohoo..i don care i just want to sleep..

i really think tt it is easier to work in a surgical ward.. all the management is pretty standard and i get to clean nice-looking wounds.. i don even have to speak dialect so far cuz most patients are relatively young! and i have the luxury of explaining to the patients wat medications they are taking (i finally learnt to check up medications i dunno on the spot).. the medication list is longer than i thought after all, so i still get to learn new medications=]then i can also do simple pre-op counselling, nice=]

anyway, my skills are terrible! i happily grabbed the rare chance to do urinary catherisation and i missed out so many steps! and as usual i will always go into the wrong hole.. diao.. but, 3 helpful colleagues were standing by to supervise me (even though i claimed i could manage it myself=/), and they came to my rescue.. hee..

i think off-ing drain is kind of scary cuz some stitches are sticking to the skin and it looks as if i will cut the skin.. anyway, another nice colleague offered to supervise me aft i said i am not v good at it and she wants me to practise more.. see, my colleagues are nice=] anyway, when i was pulling out the drain, i asked the patient to breathe in and out with me in order to distract him, but i think i got a bit distracted as well..cannot coordinate my nose and hands.. hee.. if i ever go for surgery, i'll request the surgeon not to put a drain for me, cuz removing looks really painful=/
